Castleford's main park is at the top of Ferrybridge Road. It offers some excellent views. The park was originally called Victoria Park.

The Friends of Queens Park, part of the Castleford District Parks Partnership, have worked hard bringing the park to new life. They hold concerts at the bandstand on selected Sundays.
